Obituary

Mrs. Rosa E. “Shirley” Martin Kennedy, 78, of Greenville, South Carolina, passed on Monday, July 20, 2020, at her home. She was a daughter of the late Columbia Young and Azalee Martin.

Surviving: three daughters, Jacqueline (Alonzo) Taylor of Mauldin, SC, Gwendolyn Kennedy of Norcross, GA and Victoria “Vicki” kennedy of Greenville, SC; four sons, Willie “Boot” Galloway of El Paso, TX, Robert Earl Kennedy of Greenville, SC, Vincent (Sabrina) Kennedy of Simpsonville, SC and Ronnie Jerome Kennedy of Spartanburg, SC; three sisters, Barbara A. (John) MaHaffey of Simpsonville, Sc, Annie ruth smith of Greenville, SC and Louise Bowen of Simpsonville, SC; thirty-two grandchildren; thirty-four great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Graveside Service: Sunday, July 26, 2020, 2:00p.m. at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church Cemetery.

Rest on in Heaven Mrs Rose, you will always be remembered and loved. I enjoyed you when I first met you and I will always remember that last conversation you can shared with me that made me laugh so hard. God has called another beautiful Angel home to watch over the Kennedy family.

Big Momma was a trooper. She endured her trials and tribulations till the end She loved her family. No matter how sick she was, she always remembered my name.I love y'all and l know she is resting with Jesus.
