To The Nelson Family,
I send my condolences and love. May the many memories of time shared together comfort you and bring you peace and joy.
I met Mrs. Nelson many years ago, during the times that Tangie came to visit with Hannah and Andrew. They were very young and the apple of her eyes. When she found out that l too was a teacher conversation engaged. Another sweet memory was of Andrew around age 4, l visited the family in Houston. Andrew took quickly to me. He follow me throughout the house, even to the store, calling me "Grandma." Tangie quickly, explained, that the only person that came to visit on a plane was, Mrs. Nelson, his grandmother. We have laughed about it over the years.
A strong, pride filled lady she was and will always be remembered for her values and principles. As an educator, she touched more lives than many of us willever realize. May the life she losted speak volumes.

Howard, Tangie, Hana and Andrew,

Sending our deepest condolences and prayers to you and your family with the passing of your beloved Mother, Mother-in-law and Grandmother. We were blessed to have known her. We always enjoyed talking to her and visiting with her when she came to visit you in Houston. One of my fondest memories was visiting with her once and greeting her with a hug and a “hello Soror”. She lit up and starting talking about being a Delta. Mrs. Nelson was a woman of style and grace. She will be missed. Praying for you during this difficult time. We are here for you if you need us. We love you!
