Rest in Peace Herman!
This man absolutely loved Southside HS sports. I remember in 1980, the varsity basketball team won the Upper State Championship. The first of many trips to the State finals. The look on Herman’s face when we won. He was our biggest most loyal fan win or lose, thanks for your support! Jerome Williams, Albert and Hasker Hudgens, Ken Sims, James Allen, Derrick Pendergrass, Donnie Smith, KJ, Roger Wright, and the late Reggie Fincher

I was blessed to spend everyday during dismissal with Herm. He loved althetics! Herm would blow that whistle at us and say "go home dummy" 🧡 he absolutely loved Southside High School especially the students. I'm going to miss our friend🐅🙏🏼.

This guy looks very familiar. I'm trying to remember where I know his face from. I was at Southside in 1991-1992. Maybe he was there then...
