Mr. Donnie Ray “Pete” Westmoreland, 61, of Greenville, passed away on Friday, September 6, 2019, at his home. He was a son of Mildred Westmoreland Suber and the late Clarence Cannon.

Surviving along with his mother, his wife, Brenda Parks Westmoreland of the home; two daughters, Christie (Shawn) Dillard of Spartanburg, and Erica (Theo) Drayton of Greenville; three sons, Doriyon Westmoreland (Ayana) and Foraji Westmoreland, both of Greenville; a godson, Quintavion Smith of Greenville; one sister, Tesha Suber of Greenville; seven grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Pete was a great guy to work with never a bad time with him he made everyone laugh just a all around good guy .....I’ve learned a lot from him like just slow down take it easy don’t rush nothing it is what is ..... but one things for sure Pete had love for everybody and would do anything for you .... fly high my brother you will be missed man love ya big Pete

Rest in Power Pete. I remember Tesha and I listening to "Prince" in her room after school almost everyday.
You were so calm about life at such an early age. Never saw you upset about anything. A Beast on the court. Such a nice guy. Praying for you Tesha and family. Sorry for your lost. Fly High My Friend.

Going to miss you Pete and all the work memories we had. You were a great guy to be around. You taught me a lot. All the good old school r&b music. As soon as I would turn country on he would instantly turn it off. Made me laugh so hard. I would test how strong he was and wrestle with him and I got to say he was a strong man for his age. After working with Pete for 3 years everyday as a partner it is hard to say goodbye. I’ll never have another partner like you. Pete I’ll miss you buddy
