Dave was one of my best buddies growing up in Bellmore. We shared school memories, worked together painting homes in the summers, spent numerous times in Deep River, CT at the "muster", and finally did shooting with many of his fine weapons. I saw him last in Charleston soon after he retired and when I was stationed at Camp Lejuene for reserve military recall. Despite the years, I will always consider him one of my best friends. I will miss him.

Dave and I were close friends growing up on Long Island. We spent countless hours playing hoops and listening to rock and roll. Dave was the quickest wit and one of the best students. Even though we weren't in touch for many years I consider him part of my family. My sincerest condolences to the Joel and Sam.

My Husband was stationed with him in the Coast Guard. They remained friends after they both retired, and would meet for dinner at least once a month. When they would meet up, Dave would give Thad some sharks teeth Dave would find to give to our daughter. He was a great man, with great morals, and a wonderfully thoughtful heart. You will be missed by so many. Sending our sincerest condolences to the Millman family.

David and I were good friends since I met him on CGC Dallas in 2000. He somehow found all the great places to eat in every port we pulled into. He was a man of a very high moral character who inspired the same in the people around him. Dave, you will be greatly missed.
